Program Overview

Starting from the winter semester 2006/07 the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg has switched from a Diploma of chemistry curriculum to a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) replaced. The new chemistry curriculum supplements the existing B.Sc./M.Sc. curriculum in Molecular Science and creates a unique study program that combines the two related fields.

The two courses of studies differ by the fact the fact that the inorganic chemistry studies are freely accessible and focused on the fundamentals, while admission into the Molecular Science program is limited and there are two foci within the program; Molecular Life Science and Molecular Nano Science.
