Posters

Mounting

The poster exhibition will be open throughout the meeting. The poster wall sizes are 1.17m x 1.17m each. The walls are "soft", i.e. posters may be mounted using ordinary pins. Posters larger in vertical size may "overlap" without problem. However, posters larger in horizontal size are not acceptable.

Posters may be mounted starting Sunday, July 16, 12:00. Use the poster boards whose numbers match those in the abstracts book or on the posters list on WWW (this list will be given numbers ca. one week prior to the Workshop). Poster dismounting may be done until 19:00, Thursday, July 20, 2000.

Abstracts

Poster abstracts should be a single page in A4 format (29.7 x 21.0 cm), with all margins at least 2.5 cm (1"). The abstract header should include the title, the authors' name and affilation. Phone and FAX numbers, e-mail addresses, and WWW addresses are optional.

The Organizers prefer to receive abstracts in printed form by regular mail. E-mail attachments in MS-Word format will be also convenient.

May 31, 2000 is the deadline for submission of poster abstracts.

Oral Presentations

The Lecture Theater has facilities both for slide and for overhead projection. Overhead projection is recommended. A video beamer for, e.g., Power Point presentations will be available. Participants who wish to employ the video beamer are kindly asked to contact the Organizers beforehand.

Slides should be given to the operator well before the lecture. Please note that US "carousel" type magazines are not accepted by our projectors.

Double projection is possible, but is somewhat inconvenient. Please contact Dr. Hampel prior to the Conference, also if any special equipment is needed.

The guidelines for the submission of lecture abstracts are the same as those for posters (see above).

Lecturing times are 25 minutes + 5 minutes discussion per participant

Lecturers and chairmen are requested to stay strictly within the time schedule
